Meditation here is not about forcing stillness or emptying your mind, it’s about following your natural rhythms and
letting yourself be at ease.

When most people think about meditation, they imagine sitting cross-legged on the floor, trying to empty their mind and feel serene. And for many, that feels impossible—too much time, too much effort, too far from the rhythm of daily life.

But meditation at its core isn’t about forcing silence or perfection. It’s about pausing long enough to notice yourself—to breathe, soften, and come back into your body and heart. It’s about meeting yourself exactly as you are. Even just a few minutes here and there can ease stress, settle the nervous system, and bring more clarity, balance, and ease into your day.


The meditation we offer at The Listening Room is called Instinctive Meditation. We explore meditation as something natural and life-giving, a way to come home to your body, heart, and inner sense of wholeness. And more specifically, something that fits into your everyday life.

An introductory workshop for beginners who want to explore ways to find more calm, clarity, and connection in their lives. Held in Deal, Kent.

This 90-minute workshop offers a gentle introduction to meditation as something natural and accessible—no experience needed. Together we’ll explore Instinctive Meditation, a style that meets you exactly where you are and can easily be woven into the rhythm of daily life.
