The meditation practiced at The Listening Room is called Instinctive Meditation — a natural, life-giving way of coming home to a sense of inner wholeness. It’s about following your natural rhythms and letting yourself be at ease.

Ultimately, meditation is about pausing long enough to rest back into yourself.
It’s about meeting yourself exactly as you are with presence and compassion.

Even a few minutes of practice can settle the nervous system and restore a sense of balance and ease.

An introductory workshop for beginners who want to explore ways to find more calm, clarity, and connection in their lives. Held in Deal, Kent.

This 90-minute workshop offers a gentle introduction to meditation as something natural and accessible—no experience needed. Together we’ll explore Instinctive Meditation, a style that meets you exactly where you are and can easily be woven into the rhythm of daily life.

What to expect:

  • Gentle, guided practices to help the body settle and the mind soften

  • A longer guided meditation

  • Space for discussion, quiet reflection and optional journaling

  • Simple tools you can take home to bring more ease and balance into everyday life
